The Revenge Of The Nutty Aliens!

April 10, 2018 by Libby Bird Leave a Comment

A freaky fun foodie story told in three photos, with a recipe at the end. Chocolate peanut goodness awaits!

One day on Planet Pics, the nutty aliens were frolicking among the feijoa boulders when suddenly – eeek! – oh no, a hungry human is coming! Knowing the little aliens have a soft nutty centre, the hungry human couldn’t resist a bite. Calamity!Nutty aliens are small but they are fierce. Maybe it’s all that plant protein. They made sure the hungry human was never seen again and lived happily ever after.

If you’d like to increase the nutty alien population:
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup almond meal
8-10 squares dark chocolate
Gluten free pretzel sticks

Mix the peanut butter & almond meal together to form a thick damp dough. Roll into balls & chill. Dip in melted dark chocolate, store in the fridge.

If you want to decorate them fully: to make the eyes, I added a dash of coconut milk to a spoonful of tapioca flour to create a workable paste/dough. They’re glued on with melted chocolate. The facial features are sprinkles.
